Release Notes 2026
Release Notes: October 14th, 2026
đ New Features đ
- Enrollment: Set automatic open and close dates and times for enrollment bundles: Each enrollment bundle can now have an optional start and end date and time. Bundles show on the Parent Dashboard only during their open window, so a single enrollment option can release different bundles at different times. A parent who selects a bundle while it is open can still finish their enrollment after it closes. The Rollover Wizard can carry these times forward to next year or leave them blank.
- Financial: Reconciliation Assistant tool: Â Camps for whom it is relevant will see a Reconciliation Assistant under Financial Dashboard > Reconciliation reports. Upload the Balance Details export from your card processor, and the tool shows which transactions make up each payout deposited to your bank account. It flags any payout that doesn't fully match, often the most recent one still settling. You can export the full breakdown to Excel. Your file is read in your browser and is never uploaded or saved, and a glossary explains each term.
- Camp Today: All pages now offered in responsive design: The Tags page under the Camp Today Media dashboard now uses the Responsive design. Add, rename, and search tags; a new tag is highlighted as soon as you add it, and renamed tags move into alphabetical order right away.
â Improvements â
- Camp Shop: Custom confirmation email text and order invoices: In Admin > Campers > Shop, you can now add your own text to the Shop purchase confirmation email. Parent Dashboard purchases now include an invoice PDF with the confirmation. On the camper profile Shop tab, each order now has options to generate its invoice and to send a confirmation email, including for orders created by an admin.
- Spending Money: Deposit confirmation Emails and statements: Parents now receive a confirmation email with a statement attached when they add Spending Money from the Parent Dashboard. Add your own text to this email in Admin > Campers > Spending Money. On the camper profile Spending Money tab, admins can now generate a statement for any date range and resend the confirmation email.
- Agent: Forms step during enrollment: Agent enrollment now includes the Forms step, matching the Parent Dashboard. Agents can complete camper and family forms, Health History, and Transportation forms, and the same required-form rules apply. Agents can also submit Health History Forms from the camper's profile. The Agent Module is currently in Beta. To have it turned on, please contact support@campmanagement.com.
- Advanced Reports: Faster report refresh: Reports with restrictions now refresh one at a time, as they're needed, instead of all at once. This removes slowdowns some larger camps saw after updates that affect report results.
- Labels: Eleven new label templates available: Eleven new label formats are available in Admin > Campers > Labels > + Add new label: Avery 5371, 5162, 5165, 5161, 60517, 94106, 5293 (round), and 5195, plus DYMO 30252, CR80, and Avery/Presta 94237. The New Label window also links to our list of compatible label formats.
- Improved display in browser Dark Mode: The CampSite admin header and Saved Email previews now stay readable when your browser is set to dark mode.
- Accessibility Widget on more pages: The accessibility widget is now available on enrollment request and request-for-information pages, donor registration, and staff registration. Text size changes now apply to more form question types, and the widget's text has been simplified.
- Translation: Four new languages: Filipino (Tagalog), Farsi (Persian), Armenian, and Korean are now available for translating your external pages. To add one for your camp, please contact support@campmanagement.com.
Release Notes: August 27th, 2026
đNew Featuresđ
- Camp Dashboard URLs Page in DB Management: A dedicated "URLs" reference page has been added under Admin > DB Management. This tab provides administrators with quick access to all active dashboard links for their camp, making it easier to share links and access dashboards.
- Camp Shop: Rollover Wizard: Camp shop inventory can now be rolled over between camp years using the Rollover Wizard. Items transition into the new year with identical settings and pricing, but default to an unlisted status so admins can review availability before making them public.
- Staff: Configurable Secondary Staff Email Addresses: A secondary staff email address field has been added to the admin dashboard staff profiles, staff dashboard, and the staff application. The field is optional and automatic email notifications dispatch to both addresses simultaneously.
- Staff: Selective Secondary Staff Email Messaging Controls: The staff email tool now features individual checkboxes for primary and secondary email addresses. Senders can independently target either address or both when sending staff emails.
- Spending Money: Financial Dashboard Reporting: Spending Money transactions are now integrated into the Transaction Log report found in the Financial Dashboard > Reconciliation Reports section. Spending Money transactions and processing fees display accurately alongside standard transactions.
- Entity IDs Displayed on Profiles: The unique ID numbers for campers, families, and staff are now displayed directly on their respective profile headers. This provides instant visual clarity to prevent administrative errors and assist in managing duplicate accounts.
â Improvementsâ
- Agent: Agent Dashboard Family Display Cap Removal: With this improvement the agent dashboard now displays the complete list of assigned families without capping results. Agents can now scroll through and access all assigned accounts.
- Staff: Reference Form Date Picker Fix: Interactive calendar date-pickers now open reliably when a user selects a date-type question on the staff reference form. This resolves an issue that prevented users from choosing days, months, and years via standard calendar popups.
- Events: Credit Card Processing Disclosure: The Pay Invoice modal in the Events Dashboard now renders the credit card surcharge disclosure message when surcharging is enabled. The disclosure dynamically shows or hides based on the payment method that is selected.
Release Notes: July 16th, 2026
đNew Featuresđ
- Medical: Group camper and staff medical reports by assigned bus. This update introduces new options on the Medical dashboard that allows camps to print and group Medical Profiles and the Medical Awareness List by assigned bus.
- Our new Agent Module is currently in Beta. With this release we have made improvements to the module that allows us to offer it to all who are interested! The agent enrollment wizard tool has been upgraded to properly reflect credit card processing fees, custom payment entries, and discount options. New automated blocks have been added to prevent submission attempts whenever required payment fields are left empty by the agent.
- If you have already expressed interest in utilizing the module, it will be turned on for you. Otherwise, if you are interested in turning it on, please contact support@campmanagement.com for assistance.
- More information on the module can be found HERE
â Improvementsâ
- Advanced Reports Field/Filter Window Improved for Tablet Sized Screens: We have upgraded the advanced reports page layout for tablet devices to ensure the field/filter window aligns in the center of the display instead of appearing off-center
- Cleaned Up âDashboard Themeâ and âBrandingâ Tabs: The layout for the âDashboard Themeâ and âBrandingâ tabs in Admin > DB Management has been improved. We eliminated redundant instructional texts, organized settings, and aligned button labels.
- Camp Shop: Fulfillment Status Logged in Camper History Tab: Every camp shop item status update made by an admin will now be recorded in the Camper Profile History tab.
- Camp Shop: Credit card disclosure added to camp shop checkout. The credit card surcharge disclosure message configured in Admin > Campers > Financial: Communication will now generate inside the payment modal of the shop checkout screen.
- âRequiredâ tag added to Camper and Staff Dashboard Forms tabs: The "Required" tag indicator will now display next to required forms when accessed from the Parent or Staff Dashboard Forms Tabs.
- Merge field capabilities added to âParagraphâ form question type: Admins can now insert merge fields into a paragraph type question when creating a camper, family, or staff web form. When these forms are pulled up by parents or staff, the text will replace placeholders with real data such as names, ages, etc.
- Camp Today: Failure safeguards added for Facial Recognition feature. The background upload process for the Facial Recognition feature has been reinforced with error handling and retry guidelines. Posts that fail to process will now display a status to admins along with a manual link to resubmit the photos for matching.
Release Notes: June 4th, 2026
đ New Software Release â June 4th đ
⨠Exciting New Features
- Admin Two-Factor Authentication Deactivation Tool: Admin users had no mechanism to assist parents or staff who became locked out of dashboards after losing device authentication codes. The Family and Staff profiles now feature a "Disable 2FA" tool in the Action Menu restricted by the Campers > Basic > Edit admin permission, which strips the lock, logs history data, and triggers a confirmation alert to the end user.
- ADA Compliance: Universal Accessibility Software Widget: To bring Parent, Staff, and Donor dashboards into compliance with modern visual scanning expectations, weâve introduced an Accessibility Widget. Users can change typography size or select a dyslexia-friendly font, dimensions, alternate high-contrast or inverted color page views, toggle inverted dark configurations, or activate dyslexia-friendly layouts with single-action toggles that persist throughout their session. This capability is limited on the Admin interface to users using the mobile responsive interface. You can activate this on your âMy Profileâ (click on your username @ Camp Initials link in your navigation bar) under âBeta Programsâ by changing the âResponsive design betaâ dropdown menu to âAll Devicesâ. The widget appears on Parent, Staff, and Donor Dashboards automatically.
- Spending Money: Parent Dashboard Transaction Logs: Parent Dashboard users previously lacked a clear ledger to track their camper's Spending Money transactions from the Parent Dashboard. An expandable and collapsible summary log has been introduced that displays an itemized list with transaction details.
Camp Shop: New Stock Report: A new Stock Report has been added to the Shop dashboard that allows admins to quickly evaluate items that are running low. The report allows for filtering by calendar year, physical location, and stock range, and provides built-in shortcuts to add or reduce stock.
â Product Enhancements and Improvements
- Staff: Department Input Fields Expanded: The "Add Department" and "Edit Department" input areas on the Staff Departments boards were cutting text off at 30 characters and long text strings displayed poorly. The input boxes capability were expanded and headers display departments more completely.
- Family Profile Financial Transaction Display Ordering: When a camper profile exceeded 16 individual line items, adding a manual transaction caused previous charges and discounts to scramble out of chronological order upon page refresh. The Family Profile Financial tab now guarantees that transactions remain in order.
- Missing Forms Report Logic: Restricted Medical Forms: The Missing Forms Report previously displayed medical forms as missing even for campers who were restricted from filling them out due to their session enrollment criteria. This report has been improved to prevent this, so admins only see form deadlines that strictly apply to each camper.
- Custom Field Identification Display: Unique ID numbers were previously placed at the very end of custom field names, causing them to get clipped out of view. The design was modified to showcase IDs directly inside the header title bar as an explicitly clear label, making them immediately viewable without resizing the layout.
- Camp Shop Interface Improvements: Improvements were made on the Shop dashboard, the Shop admin settings tab, and the Shop Orders tab of the Camper Profile. Text fields were standardized, helper text was added, and the order deletion warning on the Camper Profile was rewritten to better clarify the shop item refund process.

â Product Enhancements and Improvements
- ATTENTION Camps processing registration in AUTOMATIC enrollment processing mode that offer ENROLLMENT OPTION SPECIFIC ENROLLMENT EXTRAS (extras added in Admin > Campers > Setup Wizard > Step 9): Our recent release introduced a bug that caused enrollment extra financial charges to not trigger on the family profile when certain criteria were met. We have resolved the issue with this release. For more details please click HERE.
- International Payment Compatibility: System payment processing now supports three-digit country codes to improve the success rate of international credit card transactions. This update specifically reduces address-related declines for families residing outside the United States.
đ Bug Fixes
- Staff Department and Session Management: Administrators can now reuse department names across different sessions without encountering validation errors. This update aligns the behavior of editing departments with the existing logic for creating new ones.
- Address Autofill and Form Submission: The enrollment button now reliably activates when address information is filled using the Google Maps autofill feature. This improvement eliminates the need for manual keystrokes to trigger form validation on address-required pages.
- Waitlist Tuition Modal Restoration: The ability to update tuition plan rates via the administrative modal has been restored within the waitlist wizard. Administrators can once again adjust rates seamlessly during the checkout phase for waitlisted families.
- Enrollment Extra Accuracy: Manual enrollment wizards now strictly respect the selection or deselection of enrollment extras performed by administrators. Additionally, inactive extras are now visible within the wizard to provide a complete view of available options.
-
Permission-Based Error Handling: Accessing financial reports directly via URL now triggers the correct permission error for unauthorized users. This update ensures that security protocols are strictly enforced across all reporting modules.
Reporting Data Integrity: Refined logic in the staff advanced reports prevents the duplication of staff rows when salary-specific filters are active. Users can now generate accurate, single-row summaries for filtered salary data. - Advanced Discount Calculations: Automated discounts based on session names and counts now calculate accurately regardless of the order in which sessions are selected. This ensures fair and precise pricing for families participating in multi-session programs.

Release Notes - March 19th, 2026
đ New Software Release â March 19th đ
⨠New Features
- Admin: Camp Logo & Email Header Image Editing:Â Admin users can now upload and update their camp's logo and the default image used in outbound email headers directly from the admin panel â no support ticket required. Images update immediately across the platform.
- Enrollment: Save Payment Methods at Checkout:Â When a parent enters a new credit card or checking account during enrollment checkout, they now have the option to save it for future use. Saved payment methods are tokenized securely and available for future transactions.
- Agent Mode â Coming Soon: Agent Mode is a new user type that allows an individual (called an Agent) to take certain actions on behalf of multiple families, including requesting enrollment, filling out forms or medical information, and making payments depending on your preferences. If you are interested in learning more and being a beta camp, please complete the  interest form here.
â Product Enhancements and Improvements
- System: Database Rollover Status Bar:Â The Database Rollover workflow now displays a live progress bar as rollover proceeds, along with clearer error messages if any failure points occur. This gives camps better visibility into the rollover process from start to finish.
- UI: Custom Bunking Boards Labels Consistency:Â Two areas where camps' custom names for Bunking Boards weren't displaying â the RAD camper menu and Admin > Staff â have been corrected. Custom labels now apply consistently throughout the platform.
- System: Staff Salary Merge Fields Fix:Â Five salary-related merge fields (Total Salary, Taxable Salary, Total Charges, Adjusted Salary, and Adjusted Taxable Salary) were available in templates but not pulling data. All five now populate correctly in emails, contracts, and documents.
- Camp Shop & Camper Spending Money Improvements:Â Updates include fixes to order submission flows from the Parent Dashboard, fulfillment status improvements, page load errors, admin permission gaps on Camper Spending, and additional financial edge cases.
- Performance: Reduced Page Load Times:Â Ongoing optimization work has yielded additional performance gains for the Camper and Family profile experience, continuing to address excessive database query volumes that sometimes occur during high-traffic enrollment periods.
đ Bug Fixes
- System: Form Restriction Failures Resolved:Â Restrictions were silently failing across multiple platform areas due to stale data. All affected pathways have been patched to ensure restriction logic evaluates reliably.
- Enrollment: Checkout Error with Mixed Payment Schedule Groups:Â Parents selecting a mix of waitlisted and available options tied to different payment schedule groups were incorrectly shown an error at checkout. This has been corrected to allow checkout to proceed without interruption.
- Reports: Three Bugs Fixed in Missing Forms Report:Â Duplicate camper records were appearing, column headers could not be sorted, and an error occurred when previewing a notification email for a camper with no missing forms. All three issues are resolved.
- System: Medical Profile Generation Errors Fixed:Â Medical profiles were not generating correctly when the "Order" setting was configured alongside certain division and bunk structures. The generation logic has been corrected to produce accurate results.
- UI: PDF Page Reordering on Upload Fixed:Â Uploading a single multi-page PDF was causing pages to display in a different order than the original. Uploaded PDFs now retain their original page order.
- Notifications: Special Characters in Form Names Displaying as HTML Code:Â Form names with apostrophes or other special characters were rendering as raw code (e.g., ') in missing forms notification emails. Form names now display correctly.
- Reports: Campers with Longer Gender Values Excluded from Reports:Â Gender values over 30 characters were being silently truncated on save, causing those campers to be omitted from enrollment analytics and advanced reports. The field now supports the same character length as all other select list values.
- System: Family Account Merge Error Fixed:Â The merge tool was freezing when both families had completed the same yearly family form. Merges now complete successfully, retaining the destination family's form submission.
- Notifications: Admin Email Firing for Failed Checking Account Additions:Â Admins were receiving payment method notifications even when a parent's checking account submission failed due to an error. Notifications now only send when a payment method is successfully added.
Bug Fixes 2026
Bug Fixes: October 14th, 2026
đ Bug Fixes â October 14th đ
Staff: Staff Dashboard Login Error Resolved: In some databases, staff got an error when logging in to the Staff Dashboard after the recent secondary staff email update. The update has been completed in every database, and staff can log in normally.
Email: Mass Emails No Longer Send Twice: A large mass email could go out twice if the sending window stalled and the email was sent again. We added safeguards so a repeated send no longer delivers a second copy.
Spending Money: Reversed and Voided Deposits: Reversed or voided credit card and checking account deposits were still counted in the Parent Dashboard Spending Money balance and in the admin Spending Money report totals. Both now leave out reversed and voided deposits.
Camp Today Communication: Unprinted Batches Count Corrected: The âemails held in unprinted batchesâ message could report emails waiting even after every batch had been printed. The count is now accurate.
Agent: Save Confirmation and Email Labels: âSave changes for this agentâ now shows a confirmation message. The Add New Agent window in Admin > DB Management > Agents now closes when you submit. Notification emails triggered by an agentâs actions now show â(Agent)â after the agentâs name.
Bug Fixes: September 11th, 2026
đ Bug Fixes â September 11th đ
- Camp Shop: Fixed zero-stock updates on Camp Shop items: Resolved an issue preventing administrators from setting item stock levels to zero using the Reduce tool. The system now properly accepts zero as a valid quantity, allowing admins to mark items as sold out.
- Camp Today Communication: Dropped messages sent from the Parent Dashboard now prevented: Fixed a duplicate-prevention check that dropped distinct follow-up emails sent by parents within a 10-second window. The system now verifies both subject and content before suppressing submissions, ensuring all unique messages reach camp batches on the admin side.
- Camp Shop: Fixed shop order creation for Lead and Pending campers: Resolved an issue causing errors when admins added shop orders for campers with a Lead or Pending status. Orders and charges for campers without assigned sessions now process smoothly without calculation errors.
- Events: Fixed login window overlap on Events Dashboard: Fixed a layout issue in Chrome where the login window box overlapped registration and RFI links. The container properties were updated so the links remain clearly visible across all web browsers.
- Fixed custom field text truncation after apostrophes: Resolved an issue that occurred in the Responsive design only where text in custom fields truncated after an apostrophe when opening edit mode. This fix ensures values containing special characters or punctuation display and save completely.
- Events: Fixed credit card fee balance error on Event statements: Corrected a calculation error on Group and Guest financial statement PDFs that resulted in negative balances when credit card fees were enabled. Statement calculations now match the profile financial tab and accurately display total balances.
- Fixed form selections caching in print modals: Resolved an issue where re-opening the print modal on Camper and Staff form pages generated duplicate PDFs from previous sessions. Modal options and filters now reset on open and restrict printing to the active selections.
- Transportation: Fixed payment calculation on manual enrollment approval: Fixed a double-counting bug on manual enrollment approvals that occurred when parents chose the "Pay other amount" option and had transportation fees. The system no longer re-adds transportation fees on top of the custom payment totals.
- Staff: Enhanced header bar and staff tile click controls in Staff Departments: We updated the click controls on the Staff Department page so users can now click anywhere on a department header bar or staff tile to expand or collapse it. Additionally, we fixed the bulk controls so that clicking "Hide all departments" or "Show all departments" consistently sets all sections to the intended state regardless of whether they were previously open or closed.
- Improved Bunking Board interactive area and header click functionality: We updated the Bunking Board page to make expanding division headers and camper/staff tiles significantly easier by allowing you to click anywhere on the tile or header surface instead of only specific text. Additionally, action buttons, editable fields, and drag-and-drop actions will now operate smoothly without accidentally toggling card details open or closed.
Bug Fixes: August 13th, 2026
đ Bug Fixes â August 13th đ
- myCAMPapp: Partial Unenrollment Fix: Fixed an issue where partially unenrolling a camper removed them entirely from the myCAMPapp portal. Campers will now remain active in the app as long as they have at least one active enrollment remaining.
- myCampApp: Optimized data synchronization between the CampSite Admin Portal and myCAMPapp: Large data transfers containing camper, family, and session details were occasionally failing due to system connection timeouts. Data syncing now processes records in smaller automatic batches with built-in retry and progress tracking, guaranteeing reliable data transfers without manual intervention.
- myCAMPapp: Fixed data sync behavior during the initial phase of the yearly rollover process: Submitting the first step of the Rollover Wizard previously shifted app data syncing to the upcoming year prematurely, causing sync errors for active campers. The synchronization tool now remains anchored to the current operating season until the entire rollover process is completed.
- Transportation: Bus Roster Display Issue: Corrected a data display bug where bus stop assignments disappeared when generating a roster for a full week. Bus stops now properly display regardless of whether you view a single day or an entire week.
- Events: Financial Statement Balance Calculation: Fixed an issue where group and guest PDF financial statements showed a negative balance when credit card processing fees were enabled. Account balances on generated statements now accurately reflect the real total and match the admin dashboard.
- Events: Payment Method Visibility Settings: Resolved an issue where custom group payment methods failed to display on the checkout page unless individual payment settings were also enabled . Payment settings for groups and individuals now operate independently as intended.
- Events: Payment Method Modal Stability: Fixed a bug where closing and reopening a custom payment method window caused the screen to freeze or misalign. Administrators can now open, edit, and close payment method modals smoothly without refreshing the page.
- Conference & Retreat: Package Summary Reporting: Corrected the Package Summary Report to display financial totals specific to each individual package rather than combining all group charges. Reports now clearly break down charges, payments, and balances per package.
- Conference & Retreat: Package Template Selection: Fixed a caching bug in the package setup wizard that prevented details from updating when switching to a new package template. Changing templates during package creation now correctly applies the updated facilities, equipment, and meals.
- Preserve annotations and signatures on non-fillable PDF form uploads: Resolved an issue where uploaded non-fillable PDF formsâsuch as scanned documents or mobile-signed PDFsâappeared blank after processing. This fix ensures all filled-in information and signatures are permanently retained and clearly visible to administrators.
- Enforced automatic enrollment discount limits: We fixed an issue where automatic enrollment discounts were ignoring "Once per family" or "Once per camper" usage limits. The system now properly verifies whether a discount limit has already been reached before applying it during the enrollment process.
- Multi-Profile Email Tracking Accuracy: Resolved a tracking conflict where opening an email updated the delivery status for other profiles sharing the same email address. Email delivery and open statuses are now accurately isolated to the specific message and profile intended.
- Resolved an issue preventing daily task digest emails from reaching specific administrators: Some admin accounts were unintentionally excluded from receiving automated daily task summaries due to a filter rule. The logic has been updated so that all eligible admins regularly receive their scheduled digest emails.
- Waitlist & Enrollment Wizard Improvements: In the Waitlist wizard, an error preventing waitlist submissions when the payment method âNoneâ was selected, and that caused the request to fail to submit when a valid payment was entered, was resolved . Additionally, inactive payment schedules are now accessible to administrators in the Payment Information step of the Enrollment wizard.
- Special Character Display in Custom Fields while in Responsive dashboard: Fixed a display glitch impacting the Responsive dashboard where text following an apostrophe in a custom field was erased when entering edit mode. Custom field entries containing apostrophes or quotes will now retain their full text properly when saved.
Bug Fixes: July 16th, 2026
đ Bug Fixes â July 16th đ
- Fixed sorting error for dropdown lists with 50+ values: In Admin > DB Management > Dropdown Lists a conditional bug caused list values added past value 50 to reorder alphabetically into top slots. This has been fixed. Values added to a dropdown list will now preserve the order in which they were created.
- Label template alignment issue resolved: A fix was implemented for label templates to ensure the label boundaries aligned with printer-safe zones.
- Attendance: Resolved Parent Driven Logging Tool Session Discrepancies: This fix addresses an issue where the parent driven logging tool interface displayed active camp sessions that were not actually linked to the selected attendance checkpoint. The logging tool now accurately evaluates checkpoint criteria to ensure parents only see sessions tied specifically to the chosen checkpoint.
- Resolved layout and workflow issues on the Parent Dashboard: Resolved minor interface discrepancies and repaired a bug where a waitlisted option payment schedule group was mistakenly hidden on the Parent Dashboard checkout page whenever sibling discounts were active.
- Camp Shop: Created safeguards against intermittent charge duplication: This update introduces a payment gateway confirmation gate in order to prevent duplicate charges from potentially being added to a family profile Financial tab.
- System cache update repair: In a scenario where an enrollment option is restricted by an enrollment question via a saved Advanced Report, if an admin updated the answer to the enrollment question on the camper profile, the restriction parameters did not immediately update for that camper. This fix ensures the report cache updates instantly. This prevents inaccurate warning flags from displaying in the enrollment wizard if a camper is immediately enrolled in a restricted option after the enrollment question is updated.
- Camp Shop: Repaired Responsive Camper Profile Shop Order Modal: This update repairs an issue with the order tool on a camper profile for databases in Responsive mode. The camper profile order tool now functions as expected.
- Donors: Non-electronic refund bug repaired: A bug prevented custom payment methods, such as âcashâ, from being refunded on the Donor profile. With this update refunds can now be issued to a custom payment. Additionally, this fix ensures the âadd paymentâ window closes automatically upon submission.
- Events: Fixed registration confirmation email issue: An issue prevented the registration confirmation email from firing from the Registration Wizard in a scenario where no payment was collected at the time of registration. This has been repaired to ensure the registration confirmation email always successfully sends, even if no deposit is collected up front.
- Restored chronological enrollment option sorting on Parent Dashboard enrollment landing page: This update ensures that the enrollment options in the âCurrently enrolled forâŚâ list seen in a camper tile on the Parent Dashboard Enrollment landing page display sequentially in accordance with admin Setup Wizard configurations.
- Standardized save controls added to Family profiles: The âSaveâ functionality for fields on the family profile page has been updated to match the behavior found on other profiles (camper, staff, etc). Also, clicking âtabâ while in Quick Notes will no longer clear typed notes before the user saves.
- Approved payment automatic email fix: This fix ensures that parents who have input a credit card on the Parent Dashboard enrollment checkout page that matches an existing card on file will still trigger the automatic payment approval email. The fix also ensures the automatic email fires after a new card is added on the Parent Dashboard enrollment checkout page.
- Events: Reconfigured guest advanced reports to accurately pull event counts: The "Events count" report field in a guest advanced report failed to pull any data. A fix has been implemented to ensure the field accurately reflects the number of events a participant attended for the year.
- Camp Today Communication: Updated email batch system. This update repaired an issue where camper emails successfully submitted from the Parent Dashboard appeared to vanish from the admin Camp Today Communication batch tool. The batch tool now reliably works as expected.
- Fixed reset password link errors for databases in a Camp Group: This change ensures that the password reset links work correctly for admin profiles associated with multiple databases in a Camp Group. It also introduces a block for the "Forgot Password" button to prevent repeated clicks from breaking active links.
- Conference and Retreat: Package creations prevented when Group RFI is submitted by a user with an existing profile: This fix resolves an error where conference and retreat packages were still generated if the Group Request for Information form was submitted with an email associated with an existing profile. The system now treats email duplication as a hard block, which prevents the package creation until the discrepancy is resolved.
- Verification logic added at checkout for enrollment extras: This update introduces a validation check on the enrollment checkout page for enrollment extras. If a camp changes a mandatory enrollment extra to be either optional or inactive after a parent has navigated past the âQuestionsâ step of the enrollment form, then the enrollment extra selection will automatically un-select and the charge will not be added to the checkout total.
Bug Fixes: June 4th 2026
đ Bug Fixes â June 4th đ
- PDF Processing Repair: Uploading certain PDF formsâsuch as fillable documentsâpreviously caused text to render as garbled characters or display as completely blank files. The system was updated to preserve fonts and correct characters in these cases.
- Staff: Profile Merge Tool Repair: Merging staff profiles into a profile created later could potentially cause loss of data in scenarios when the newer destination profile had missing custom fields, previous year application questions, or medical forms. This tool has been improved to retain all data fields regardless of their presence in the destination profile.
- Camp Shop: Checkout Fixes: Userâs checkouts would fail with an error if they attempted to input a new card with no other billing options on file. The parameters were adjusted to properly accept new credit cards and also ensure billing emails receive order notifications.
- Transportation: Vehicle Route Scheduling Continuity: Due to a timing bug where map initialization executed before the layout fully loaded, bus routes and counselor pickup orders could reshuffle or display out of order across different device tabs. This will no longer occur, and manual stop ordering will be honored consistently.
- API: Forms Date Format Endpoint: Using a PUT request via the API to update a form submission would error out if new questions were added to the form after the initial submission, while date fields would default to a placeholder. The endpoint logic was rewritten to allow new form questions to be successfully answered and to ensure dates are captured correctly.
- Dashboard Printed Form Download Options: A logic bug caused the Parent Dashboard to treat editable printed documents as un-submitted, which only allowed parents to view an upload prompt. The ability for parents to download copies of their historical file submissions has been restored.
- Camper Reference Form Permission Restrictions: A bug restricted access to the Camper Reference Form question creation tool based on Staff module permissions. The logic has been updated to restore access to the Camper Reference Form question creation tool appropriately.
- Avery Label Padding Alignment Errors: Resolved a printing margin bug that caused bulk-generated Avery shipping labels to misalign with standard physical templates.
- Clipped Action Buttons in Mobile Extended Family Welcome Emails: Fixed a layout defect that caused the âSet a password and log inâ button in the Extended Family Welcome Email to be cut off when the email was opened on certain mobile devices and mailing applications. The button container was upgraded to be self-adjusting in order to eliminate word truncation.
Bug Fixes: June 18th, 2026
- Camp Shop: Stock Report Item Filter Corrected: The inventory stock report failed to display items with an "Online" location if a camp had configured at least one âOnsiteâ location. This happened because the reportâs location filter accidentally grouped online availability with physical location tracking, which omitted online items. A new "Online" filter option has been added to the Stock Report to ensure all items in the store are captured accurately by the location filter.
- Camp Shop: Inventory Control Button Freezes Resolved: Admins were unable to click the "add" or "reduce" stock adjustment buttons for items that contained spaces in their sizing or color names (e.g., âYouth Smallâ or "Dark Green"). This was caused by a formatting error that blocked the button action. The code has been updated to allow the adjustment buttons to operate reliably regardless of name formatting.
- Transportation: Inaccurate Bus Fees on Re-Enrollment Eliminated: If a parent removed a session during the enrollment process after submitting the transportation form and picked a different session, old transportation fees from the removed session would mistakenly remain on the final enrollment checkout. This happened because the system deleted the session itself but left the hidden, completed transportation form in the background. The removal function has been upgraded to wipe associated transportation forms when a session is deleted, preventing incorrect charges.
- Advanced Report Transportation Method Accuracy Improved: The Advanced Report Transportation > General Info > âMethodâ field displayed transportation methods (such as âbusâ) for sessions that the camper had unenrolled from. The Advanced Report tool was pulling from historic transportation forms without checking if the associated session was still active. The logic has been rewritten to exclusively filter by active enrollments.
- Camp Today: Extended User Dashboard Access Restored: When users logged into the Extended Users Dashboard, they encountered an error message that froze the dashboard interface. The issue has been fixed, restoring full use of the dashboard and navigation menu.
Camp Today: Photo Post Deletion Block Remediated: Admins were blocked from deleting photo posts or removing specific images from a Camp Today post if a parent or staff had already "saved" that photo on their dashboard. A code adjustment now allows admins to delete photos, without causing issues for the parent or staff who saved the photo.
Medical: Text Editor Stability on Health History Forms Restored: When editing health history templates in Admin > Campers/Staff > Medical, opening, closing, and reopening sub-sections would cause the text editor box to not load. The code has been updated to ensure a clean and consistent editing layout whenever the text editor box is opened.
Parent Dashboard Translation Issue Fixed: When a parent with a non-English âpreferred languageâ navigated through the enrollment process, the Forms step "Camper Forms" section failed to translate into their language. This occurred because the âCamper Formsâ section loaded text dynamically after the page's main language translator had already finished running. The system has been updated to trigger the translator whenever form content finishes loading, resolving this issue completely.
- Enrollment Tag Categories Sorting Fixed: The enrollment tag categories list on the Parent Dashboard displayed in a different order from what was designated on the admin side. This occurred because a layout rule was forcing the categories into an alternating, multi-column pattern. The layout container has been converted in order to accurately mirror the category order set by an admin.
Release Notes 2025
Release Notes - March 26th, 2025
Here's what changed:
Â
New features
- âźď¸ NEW! We added another "age" value for campers and staff that calculates their age in years + months.
- This value is not a "true" fraction - the decimal point represents the number of months old they are.
- For example, if a camper is 4 years and 11 months old, their decimal age is 4.11.
- Keep in mind that the filter for years + months in advanced reports treats this value as "true" fraction.
- âźď¸ NEW! You can now report on incomplete enrollments using the enrollment option + bundle name + status field. If a camper selected options on the enrollment options page, saved it, but never finished submitting the form, the enrollment option + bundle name + status field will display those options as "(Incomplete)".
- âźď¸ Attention API users: your API calls must now use api.campmanagement.com/v1 for the URL (instead of your camp's subdomain). We also updated the bunking assignment GET calls to use 'query parameters' instead of a 'body request'.
- đł Our processing fees functionality is now set up for the Donors module.
Bug Fixes
- The yearly custom fields tab on the Staff profile page displays correctly now.
- The "What's my password?" modal on the Events dashboard is working again.
- If staff applicants resubmit the references page of their staff application after a reference already filled out their reference form, the reference form submission is no longer reset.
- The functions for rearranging registration options and deleting coupon codes on the Events module Registration Options setup page have been fixed.
- The "Undo" function for staff-driven attendance logging now works properly when you allow multiple check-ins for the same checkpoint.
Release Notes - April 30th, 2025
â New software release - April 30th â

- âźď¸ For camps using our Attendance module, you can now add custom header text to the Authorized Pickups page of the Parent Dashboard, and add address fields to your authorized pickup form. To add address, go to Admin > Campers > Attendance > Authorized pickup fields. And, you can report on their addresses, too!
- âźď¸ The Credit Card Transactions Report results now includes GL (ledger) codes for each transaction (if applicable).
- âźď¸ Camps using our Conference & Retreat module, you can now show equipment and facility prices to groups requesting a package on request for info/direct registration forms. Enable prices from Events Setup Wizard > Step 1.

Bug Fixes
- For camps with our Medical module, we fixed the bug that prevented campers from finishing enrollment if medical forms were required for sessions that the camper didnât select (a.k.a. they're not supposed to fill out the forms).
- We made another improvement to the upload process for printed forms, where in rare instances the âfile is too largeâ error was being thrown when the file was not too large.
- The "Auto pay batch results" admin email notification is firing properly again - some users weren't getting the emal if the last payment in the batch was declined.

Todayâs release features the following updates and improvements:
For camps with our Medical module, we improved the user experience on the Health History Form when the "Immunizations" section is "Mandatory."
- First, we added "None" to the dose dropdowns, so that if a camper hasn't received a certain dose, they can select "none" instead of being forced to select a date.
- Also, chickenpox date, TB test date, and TB test results are no longer required even if "Immunizations" are mandatory, so parents can skip these 3 questions if they're not relevant.
For the form review feature, we've added the option to display the form review status on the Dashboard.

- The standard "Approved" review status will display in green, and the standard "Denied" review status will display in red. Any additional custom review statuses your camp has created will display in grey.
New admin users now create their own passwords
- In our ongoing security effort to stop sending passwords via email, now when you create a new admin user for your CampSite database, you can no longer set their password for them - they'll receive an automatic email as soon as their account is created that contains a link to create their own password the first time they log in.

Release Notes 2022
Release Notes - December 14th, 2022
Today's release contains two new features:
More Staff Salary fields
Attention all camps with our Staff module: Weâve made big improvements to Staff salary.
- We created 4 new "total salary" amounts on the Salary details tab of every staff profile page: Total Salary; Total Taxable Salary; Adjusted Salary; and Adjusted Taxable Salary.
- These amounts are auto-calculated for you using their base salary; new custom "Salary amount" fields; and their total charges.
- Create new custom âsalary amountâ fields that comprise each staff member's total salary (like their bonus, referral salary, travel allowance, etc.) via Admin > Staff > Custom fields. Rearrange them in their desired order, and select whether or not they're taxable (for the total vs. total taxable salary calculations).
- The existing custom âsalaryâ custom fields are now referred to as âsalary informationâ fields. While âsalary amountâ fields can only contain monetary amounts that are summed into a total, âsalary informationâ fields are for salary-related information (e.g. marital status; that doesnât apply to their âtotal salary.â
- We also moved staff âChargesâ into the Salary details tab so you can see salary and payroll deductions in the same place. Note that admin user permissions for staff charges vs. salary details still apply.
Click here to read a full rundown on the new and improved Staff salary details.
New Camper cell phone field
- We added a new cell phone field to camper profiles, in the basic info section along with their other âessentialâ information.â¨â¨
- Families who are already in your database can add their camper's cell phone number by logging into the parent dashboard, going to the Enrollment page, and then clicking the pencil icon to edit their camperâs basic information.â¨â¨
- To collect camper cell phone from new families when they create their account, go to Step 1 of the Campers Setup Wizard and enable this field on your Request for Information / New Family Enrollment forms. You can also make it mandatory, if camper cell phone is a necessity to your camp.
- â¨â¨If your camp already created their own camper âcell phoneâ question and you want to copy that data into our new cell phone field, hold tight - weâll add camper cell phone to Advanced Reports in the next few months, so you can mass edit this field and copy over any existing cell phone numbers youâve already collected.

Todayâs release features the following updates and improvements:
-
New feature!
Often times, camps need to review and/or approve certain forms that campers submit - like scholarship applications, travel forms, daily health check or lunch request forms, etc. Today's release allows you to do just that: admin users can now assign a "review status" to every submitted camper form.
To start using feature:
1. Enable form review by going to Admin > DB Management > Forms.
2. Customize the list of review statuses you can select for each submitted form by going to Admin > DB Management > Dropdown lists and editing the "Form review status" list.
3. Go to the Forms tab of a Camper's profile and double click the pencil icon on the far left of a form to apply a "review status." Click here to see screenshots and more details.
From the Forms tab of the camper profile, view the current review status of each form as well as the date the review was last updated and which admin user made the update. Apply a new review status whenever needed. Admins can also see the current review status when viewing the actual submission of the form as well.
- We also released some minor bug fixes.

Todayâs release features the following updates and improvements:
Important Change: New Parent/Events Dashboard Password Procedure
As part of an ongoing security project, we're gradually updating CampSite so that passwords are no longer sent to a user via email; instead, users will choose their own password when creating their account.
In today's release, we applied this change to the Request for Information and New Family Enrollment forms. Now, both of these forms will ask primary parent 1 (P1) to set their own password for the Parent Dashboard instead of emailing them a random password once the form is submitted.
See above for a screenshot of the password fields. To see how your camp's Request for Information / New Family Enrollment forms look now (and/or to test the confirmation email), go to your camp's link for each form. If you need help, click here.
What does this mean?
- Passwords will no longer be written in the confirmation emails for these forms.
- Make sure your custom text in these confirmation emails doesn't say that a password is included in the email. To edit your confirmation emails, go to Setup Wizard Step 1 and check which saved email is selected as the "Submission confirmation e-mail" for both forms, then go to Admin > Families > Saved e-mails and click on each of those emails.
- If your Request for Info form settings on  Setup Wizard Step 1 say "Include Parent Dashboard credentials?" = No, the Request for Info form will not include password fields for P1. Admins will need to grant the parent(s) credentials like usual.
- For camps with our Events and/or C&R modules, group leaders and guests will also set their own passwords when creating their accounts through the Request for Info or Direct Registration forms. Passwords will no longer be emailed when these forms are submitted.
- If a parent, group leader, or guest fills out the form with an email address that's already in your database, instead of being sent a random password automatically, they're told their account already exists and provided your log in link as well as the link to reset their password.
- For camps with our Camp Today module, when a parent adds an extended family member to their account, the extended family member is emailed a link to use for setting their own password. They're also given the option to 'decline' the invitation to Camp Today, in which case they're removed from the family's account.
- In the final phase of this project over the upcoming months, we'll also stop emailing passwords to users when an admin resets their password for them. Stay tuned for another announcement when this change has been implemented.Â
Improvements
- The Enrollment Requests page now includes a new toggle for choosing whether the border color on each request reflects the camper's custom color or their gender.
- We added more camper/family information to the "Enrollment form submission" email notification for admin users (when a camper submits the enrollment form if a camp is using manual processing mode).
- For camps with our Staff module, you can now view/edit a contract when generating it for a staff person (from the action menu of their profile or via the hiring wizard). Select the saved contract from the dropdown menu like usual and the body of the contract will appear within a text editor. If needed, make changes to the contract before generating. Note that any changes you make will only apply to the present contract being generated, not the overall contract template.
- When using the responsive layout for the admin side of CampSite (whether on a laptop, desktop, or mobile device), you can now drag and move the page instructions icon. Swipe it off the page to remove it completely. As soon as you refresh the page, the icon reappears in its original position, but can be moved again as needed.
- Another responsive layout update: The "Basic Info" section of the responsive camper profile page now includes their custom color and the ability to edit it. To apply a new custom color, use a color picker or type in a common color name (our personal favorite is 'orange').
Bug Fixes
- We fixed a bug that prevented admins from using the "download a preview of all invoices" function on the "generate invoices" page if any individual invoices within the batch been generated early.
- We fixed a bug that counted a different number of 'Approved' requests on the responsive version of the Enrollment Requests page if any campers were re-enrolled for some of the same enrollment options.
Release Notes - October 13th, 2022
Todayâs release features the following updates and improvements:
- We added the 'Incomplete' tab to the Enrollment Requests page of the mobile responsive layout.
- We also made a few minor changes to the family profile 'add transaction' modals on the responsive layout so the functionality is more consistent with the modals in the original layout.
- We renamed the 'Nickname' field to 'Preferred Name' for campers, alumni, and staff. This change will appear on both the admin side as well as public-facing dashboards.
Release Notes - September 8th, 2022
Today's release features the following updates and improvements:
- The Rollover Wizard now includes a section for choosing whether to roll over campers' custom colors to the new year. Click here to learn more.
- We fixed a bug that occurred when admins entered a comma in the transaction amount in specific scenarios.
- We made a few minor changes to the layout of the financial section of the family profile on the mobile responsive layout (for consistency with the original layout).
- The email notification sent to admins for new enrollment requests now includes the camper's 'years at camp' information. Stay tuned for more improvements to this email coming soon!
Release Notes - July 28th, 2022
Todayâs release features the following updates and improvements:
(Lots of) New Features:
- Automatic birthday emails: CampSite can now automatically email enrolled campers and hired staff on their birthdays, using the Camper/Staff "Events" tool. To find this feature, go to Admin, choose the Campers or Staff tab, select Events on the left, then click "Add action" under the birthday header. You can also have an admin task created automatically, X days before the camper or staff's birthday (and the task will be due on their actual birthday). Click here to learn more.
- Tracking payment confirmation/decline emails on a family's profile: The automatic emails that are sent when a payment is approved or declined are now recorded in the Emails tab of the family's profile page. To learn more about these emails and how to enable them, click here.
- Displaying camper custom colors on Bunking Boards: A new setting allows for bunking boards to display a camper's custom color as their bunk tile background (in lieu of their gender color). Find this setting under Admin > Campers > Bunking Boards > "Apply camper's 'custom color' as tile background". Click here to learn more.
Improvements:
- Campers and staff can now re-open and view submitted forms that don't allow editing (but can't change responses or re-submit). For now, this update applies to camper forms, staff forms, and camper and staff printed medical forms, but we plan to roll this out for other forms in the future.
- The Incomplete tab on the Enrollment Requests page got a small facelift - alternate rows are now shaded grey (like the Waitlisted tab). We also fixed a small bug when sending an email to the Incomplete tab - campers will now only appear once in the recipients area.
- When an admin changes a camper's yearly custom color, it's now recorded in the camper's History log.
- For camps with our Staff module, an applicant's cellphone number is now collected they initially create their account. Whether or not their cellphone number is mandatory is based on your Staff > Admin > Application: Basic info settings. Note that the application "Basic Info" page and "My Account" page still includes 'cellphone', too.
- It's almost the end of summer, and you know what that means - lots of financial reporting! To help make reporting easier, we've added instructions to the Financial Dashboard on how to easily generate the most common financial reports. To find them, click the Financial link in your navigation bar, then click the blue instructions icon in the bottom right corner of the page.

- FIXED: For camps who process ACH payments, weâve improved the data collected for returned ACH transactions so they include the family name (instead of saying "unknown") in your weekly email notification and the CSI Gateway Report. Some transactions may still say the family is âunknownâ, in which case you should search for the transaction in your CSI portal to confirm the name of the associated account holder.

New feature alert!
CampSite now offers a new type of camper/staff form camps can create called "daily forms." Unlike traditional forms that are completed before camp starts, daily forms must be completed on a daily basis once camp is in session.
This feature is ideal for camps needing to create a daily COVID-19 screening form that campers/staff must complete before they come to camp each day, but can be used to create any type of daily form your camp may need. Â

Admin users attempting to download data via .zip files from CampSite (e.g. form submissions in mass; camper photos from an advanced report) were reporting issues with Google Chrome blocking those files from being downloaded (as a security measure). Weâve updated how these .zip files are generated on the backend to prevent Google Chrome from blocking these downloads moving forward.
We fixed a bug that caused the navigation bar to break when an admin manually uploaded a printed medical form to a camper/staff personâs profile page - the page will now reload correctly after the form is submitted.

Now, the form requires all mandatory questions to be answered for every camper that the family lists on either form.
- We also fixed a bug on the checkout page of the enrollment form that sometimes prompted parents to choose a payment schedule even though there wasnât a remaining balance to be paid.
Release Notes - October 23rd, 2020
Today's release includes the following bug fixes and improvements:
- When logging attendance using CampSiteâs Attendance module, CampSite will now reference the active days to make sure the correct session is displayed during attendance logging. This impacts campers attending multiple sessions with the same start/end dates but different âactive days.â
- To help ensure that Advanced Reports run smoothly, users can now add a maximum of 75 fields to a single report.
- Under CampSiteâs Staff module, we fixed a bug regarding the sent email thatâs displayed under the Emails tab of the applicantâs profile after an admin user resets the applicantâs Staff Dashboard password. Now, the email address to which the password reset email was sent will properly display under the âActionâ column for that message.
- Under CampSiteâs Events module, a new warning message has been added to the âUnregisterâ wizard to notify admins that any related refunds must be processed before unregistering the guest/group.
- Under CampSiteâs Program module, we fixed a bug so that CampSite will now refer to the campâs actual timezone (instead of UTC) when an admin creates new activity periods within a cycle. As a result, camps can now freely add unlimited periods within a given cycle day.
- Weâve fixed the load times on CampSiteâs Family Map and Family Radar tools so that they now load families within seconds (like they used to!)
- Previously, admin users needed âEditâ permissions for the Campers module in order to access a camperâs forms for previous enrollment years. Now, users only need âAdminâ permissions to the Campers module to access previous forms.
- CampSiteâs CSI Gateway Report has been updated to sync with some recent reporting changes made by CSI, so that ACH returns now generate properly within the CSI Gateway Report results.

Today's release has several new features for CampSite's staff module!
- The 'Summer info' page is a new feature for your Staff Dashboard - it's a one-stop resource for your summer staff to view useful links, download their contract and view information about their position at camp (including department and title)! This page can be activated via Admin -> Staff -> Staff Dashboard. Once enabled, several additional options to control the display of items on this page will be presented.
- You can now present staff forms as an additional step on the staff application! This feature is currently available for 'permanent' staff forms. To enable this feature, double-click the edit icon next to a form and change the "Present on staff application?" toggle to "Yes". You can also make these forms required to complete the application process!
Along with these improvements, we've also enabled our responsive design for admin users loading CampSite on a mobile device! This will allow users to take advantage of the mobile-friendly version of CampSite "on the go", while still being able to utilize our existing version when on a desktop or laptop computer. (Users who have already opted in to the responsive design will continue to get that version on all devices, including desktop. If you'd like to opt out of the responsive design completely on all devices, you can do so via the 'My Profile' page.)

Today's release has several features that will help your camp get even more out of CampSite this off-season!
- You can now allow staff applicants to select up to five positions on the staff application! This setting can be changed on Admin -> Staff -> Application: Settings. You can now also differentiate between positions an applicant has applied for, versus the positions they were actually hired for.
- Google Analytics or other JavaScript tracking code on your public-facing pages can now be managed directly by you, without the need for a support ticket! The code can be managed by going to Admin -> DB Management -> Embedded JavaScript. Code entered here will be included on all public-facing pages, which makes it useful for standard user tracking snippets.
- In addition, CampSite now supports "per page" tracking code - one of our most highly requested features! This code can be managed on the same page mentioned above. One of the most common use cases for this functionality is tracking conversions (i.e., measuring the number of visitors who make it to your enrollment checkout confirmation page). We will begin rolling out some of the most commonly requested pages in the coming days, so stay tuned! And let us know if there's a specific page you'd like to be made available for tracking.
Release Notes - July 18th, 2017

Our latest release includes several improvements to the CampSite financial system, including:
- As of this release, the accrual accounting module has been merged into our core financial system, and activated for all existing camps. This module provides detailed reporting on earnings for individual sessions, as well as allowing them to assign discounts and extras to specific sessions for reporting purposes. The module will be automatically enabled for all existing camps, as well as new camps moving forward. We believe that integrating this system into the standard Campsite financial system will help address the camp program reporting challenges that many of our camps face. Camps that are satisfied with their existing financial system and reporting can continue using CampSite financials as they have been, with no changes required. This change does not impact existing financials or reporting for camps that do not wish to take advantage of it.
- Family ID (or Group / Guest ID for Events reporting) has been added as an additional field to all existing financial reporting.
Other updates include:
- All yearly tabs are now shown on the Staff profile, regardless of a staff member's status for the given year.

Enrollment Discounts
Enhancements have been made to the enrollment discounts system, allowing discounts to be posted to camper accounts automatically during the enrollment process based on specific criteria.
When creating new discounts, you now have the option of choosing Manual or Automatic for the mode. Manual mode discounts are applied by administrators and Automatic mode discounts are added to the camperâs enrollment during the checkout process based on the camper meeting defined criteria. Any existing discounts in your database are set for manual mode to retain their current behavior.
The following criteria type can be selected when creating automatic discounts:
- Enrollment option - Applied if a camper enrolls in a certain enrollment option.
- Session - Applied if a camper enrolls in a certain session.
- Session count - Applied if the camper enrolls in a certain number of sessions in a given enrollment request.
- Siblings with enrollment requests - Applied if the camper has a certain number of siblings with submitted enrollment requests in the same camp year.
- Siblings enrolled - Applied if the camper has a certain number of siblings enrolled in the same camp year.
- Paying in full? - Applied if the camper selects "Pay in full" during checkout.
- Payment schedule - Applied if the camper selects a certain payment schedule during checkout.
- Payment method - Applied if the camper selects a certain payment method.
If you set multiple criteria for a discount, campers must meet all criteria with their enrollment request in order for the discount to be applied.
By default, discounts do not have limits, and will be applied each time a camper submits an enrollment request meeting the criteria for the discount. Limits can be set to have the discount applied once per camper or once per family for each enrollment year.
The calculation of discounts and coupon codes follow the existing behavior:
Discounts are applied independently of each other and always calculate off the total of the tuition plans associated with the enrollment request
Coupon codes calculate off the total amount of the enrollment request
Options have been added to the Financial: Settings section of the Admin menu to allow for stacking of enrollment discounts and coupon codes, as well as set coupon codes to calculate off tuition only. If stacking is turned on, discounts will be applied in the order in which they are listed on the Enrollment Discounts setup page.
