Release Notes 2021

Release Notes - October 25th, 2021

Today's release features the following updates and improvements:

  • FIXED: For camps with our Events module, we fixed (2) bugs:
    • A bug that prevented admins from creating new Guest forms.
    • A bug that prevented group registration confirmation emails from being delivered to the group leader if they included an attachment/Document.
Release Notes - September 16th, 2021

Today’s release features the following updates and improvements:

  • FIXED: For camps who process ACH payments, we’ve improved the data collected for returned ACH transactions so they include the family name (instead of saying "unknown") in your weekly email notification and the CSI Gateway Report. Some transactions may still say the family is “unknown”, in which case you should search for the transaction in your CSI portal to confirm the name of the associated account holder.
  • FIXED: We fixed a bug that occurred when printing someone’s submission for a form that includes multiple response questions. Now, the correct responses will display on the print out, just like they appear within CampSite.
  • FIXED: For camps with our text messaging module, we fixed a bug that caused the & symbol in your messages to appear as HTML code.
  • FIXED: When generating camper ‘Age’ into an Advanced Report, campers with no age (i.e. no date of birth) will show as having a blank age value instead of ‘Unknown’. This fixes an issue that prevented accurate sorting by ‘Age’ if any campers had no age on file.
  • NEW: For camps with our Medical module, every camper medication now includes a new “created by” field that indicates who added the medication originally. Find this value in the medication details, by double clicking the “i” icon for the medication on the camper’s profile. Also, the camper’s history log will now record when an admin adds a medication to a camper’s profile manually.
Release Notes - August 11th, 2021

Today’s release features the following updates and improvements:

  • FIXED: For camps with our Events module, we fixed the issue preventing automated emails with an attachment from being successfully delivered.
  • FIXED: When divorced parents (D1 and D2) log into the parent dashboard, they’ll no longer see daily forms. Remember that only P1 and P2 are allowed to complete forms for campers within their family.
  • FIXED: We fixed an intermittent issue that prevented the successful delivery of emails that only contain an image (but no text) in the email body.
  • NEW: For camps with our Staff and Medical modules, the dropdown menu for staff immunization dates now also includes the 1960s.
  • NEW: To optimize load times on the Camper and Staff Forms landing pages, the list of sessions to select for Session and Daily forms are now organized by year. First, use the new year dropdown to select an enrollment year, then use the sessions dropdown to select from sessions pertaining to that year.
Release Notes - July 21st, 2021

Today’s release features the following updates and improvements:

  • FIXED: For camps with our Staff module, you can now successfully un-hire a staff person if they previously submitted a daily form.
  • FIXED: Admins using our beta responsive design can now change a camper's selected enrollment bundle while approving their enrollment request and have any active tuition plan rate(s) display correctly at checkout.
  • NEW FEATURE! Camps using Constellation payments can now manually void same-day payments/refunds without having to contact CampSite Support. Find the new “void” button in the transaction details window of any credit card or checking account transaction. To learn more, click here.
  • NEW FEATURE! A new “Reports” user permission will automatically grant “Admin”-level permission to all existing and all new reports, allowing the user to delete or edit all reports at any time. Find this new permission within the DB Management permissions section for each user. To learn more, click here.

Release Notes - May 19th, 2021

New feature alert!

CampSite now offers a new type of camper/staff form camps can create called "daily forms." Unlike traditional forms that are completed before camp starts, daily forms must be completed on a daily basis once camp is in session.

This feature is ideal for camps needing to create a daily COVID-19 screening form that campers/staff must complete before they come to camp each day, but can be used to create any type of daily form your camp may need.

Release Notes - May 6th, 2021

Today’s release features the following updates and improvements:

  • For camps who have purchased our Medical module, the Immunizations section of the Health History Form now includes doses 1 and 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Admin users attempting to download data via .zip files from CampSite (e.g. form submissions in mass; camper photos from an advanced report) were reporting issues with Google Chrome blocking those files from being downloaded (as a security measure). We’ve updated how these .zip files are generated on the backend to prevent Google Chrome from blocking these downloads moving forward.

  • We fixed a bug that caused the navigation bar to break when an admin manually uploaded a printed medical form to a camper/staff person’s profile page - the page will now reload correctly after the form is submitted.

Release Notes - April 1st, 2021

In today's release, we fixed a bug that was occurring when mass printing form submissions. Now, admins can generate and print form submissions in mass, with everyone’s responses displaying correctly on their submissions.

Release Notes - March 11th, 2021

Today’s release includes the following features and improvements:

Bug Fixes:

  • Address pins now load correctly on CampSite’s map tool (e.g. the “Family Radar” map and bus maps within the Transportation module).

  • The parent dashboard setting to “hide waitlisted enrollment options on the enrollment status page of the Parent Dashboard” now correctly hides those options as intended.

  • When mass printing form submissions (from the Camper Forms page) where submissions include multiple responses to multiple choice questions, the responses will now be formatted correctly.

  • When using CampSite’s responsive admin layout, family forms being restricted by a report will now display correctly on the family’s profile.

New Features:

  • For camps that process ACH (checking account) transactions, we’ve reinstated the ability to refund payments made via ACH. To refund an ACH payment, open the original ACH payment transaction on the family’s profile and click to “refund the full payment.” To learn more, click here.

  • For camps using our Events module, you can now enable CAPTCHA when a group or guest creates a new account to prevent spam accounts from being created. For now, enabling CAPTCHA for the campers module will also enable it for groups/guests. Control your CAPTCHA settings for campers via Step 1 of the Camper Setup Wizard. Click here to learn more.

Release Notes - February 22nd, 2021

Today’s release includes the following features and improvements:

  • We fixed a bug that was preventing automatic emails with an attached file from being successfully delivered to the recipient. If you had an attachment saved on any automated camper/staff applicant confirmation emails or you scheduled an email that included an attachment, those emails were not being delivered successfully. As of the afternoon of February 22nd, the underlying issue has been resolved and you can now include an attached file on these automated emails again.
  • For camps with our Staff module, the minimum age requirement for your staff application now asks for the date as of when the staff should be the required age.
  • For camps with our Texting module, text messages that include accented characters will now display correctly to the recipient.
  • If you’re using our responsive admin layout for CampSite, when hiring a staff person under our Staff module, you can now assign them to a camper bunk using a dropdown menu.
  • For camps with our Events module, you can now elect to present guest forms during the individual registration process. The forms can also be made required for registration.
  • Camps can now trigger multiple automatic email events related to a camper’s non-enrollment. Previously, campers would only receive (1) email even if they were captured by multiple events.
Release Notes - January 20th, 2021
  • Within the Staff module, we fixed a bug that prevented admins from attaching a contract to the email that’s sent when hiring an applicant.
  • We fixed the support bubble that allows you to email CampSite support straight from your CampSite navigation bar, so any messages you send using this tool will now send to us successfully.
  • We fixed a bug on the Request for Information and New Family Enrollment forms that was causing the address input to switch to international when families chose an auto-suggested address from the Google Maps plugin.
  • The “Deleted Transactions” report results have been updated to include another column that indicates the date on which the transaction was originally created.
  • We’ve removed the 75-field limit in Advanced Reports. Instead, admins will receive a warning upon adding 75 fields that they should proceed with caution (as having more than 75 fields on a report can cause performance issues).
  • There’s a new reportable field in the Camper Advanced Reports tool for the “created date” for camper and family notes. Find this field under the “Notes” and “Family Notes” tab when adding fields to a report.
