🐛 Bug Fixes – October 28th 🐛
Enrollment: Checkout Payments Posted to the Correct Financial Categories: When a transportation group was set to charge at enrollment checkout, part of the tuition payment on the Parent Dashboard checkout was posted to the transportation category, and deposit-only payments posted the full transportation amount to the deposit category. Bundle deposits larger than the tuition could also land in the wrong category. Payments made at checkout now go to the correct categories.
Enrollment: Duplicate Discount Line Items Resolved: A discount applied during enrollment, whether by an admin or through a parent enrollment request, could appear twice on the family's Financial tab. This was fixed on October 20th, and each discount is now recorded once.
Financial: Invoices Show the Correct Amount Due: When a payment was applied to an invoice after it was made, the invoice PDF still showed the full original amount. Invoices generated from the Past Due Report and the Family Profile, and invoices downloaded from the Parent Dashboard, now show the amount still due.
Email: Saved Emails Send Normally: Sending an email with a saved email loaded could stall at "Sending e-mail, please wait…" and never deliver. This was fixed on October 16th, and saved emails now send as expected.
Advanced Reports: Download Links Now Last 7 Days: Download links emailed from Advanced Reports for documents, form submissions, labels, photos and exports expired after 1 hour and then showed an "Access denied" error. They now stay active for 7 days, so you no longer need to request the files again if the email arrives late or you open it later.
Events: Accrual Transaction Log Includes End-Date Transactions: The Events Accrual Transaction Log could leave out group transactions made in the evening on the last day of the selected date range. All transactions on the end date now appear.
Advanced Reports: Transportation Method for Lead and Pending Campers: The "Arriving: Method" and "Departing: Method" fields were blank for Lead and Pending campers who had submitted a transportation request. They now show the selected method.
Staff: Positions Kept When Staff Reapply: When a staff member applied for a new position, a position they held earlier could be removed from their profile if it was no longer shown on the staff application. Earlier positions now stay on the profile.
Medical: Staff Printed Medical Form Instructions: Instructions added in Medical > Staff printed medical forms were not showing on the Staff Dashboard. Staff now see them when they open the form.
Labels: Further Label Alignment Fixes: DYMO 30256 labels can now be generated from Advanced Reports. DYMO 30256, Half Page, Quarter Page, 4" x 6" and 3" x 5" labels now print aligned, whether you print one label, part of a page or several pages.
DB Management: Events Links on the URLs Page for Conference & Retreat: Camps with Conference & Retreat but not Events didn't see the Events section in Admin > DB Management > URLs. The group and individual request-for-information and registration links now appear for camps with either module.
Email: Merge Fields Insert on the First Click: When emailing from a camper, family, staff or guest profile, a merge field had to be clicked twice to be added. One click now adds it.
System: Clearer Error Messages: When something goes wrong, CampSite now shows a clear message instead of a blank page or no response. Declined or failed card and bank payments now explain the reason in plain language, such as an expired card or a billing address that doesn't match. These changes are part of ongoing behind-the-scenes improvements to security and error handling.
Events Dashboard: "What's My Password?" Close Button: The close button in the "What's my password?" window on the Events Dashboard login page now displays correctly.
