🐛 Bug Fixes – July 16th 🐛
- Fixed sorting error for dropdown lists with 50+ values: In Admin > DB Management > Dropdown Lists a conditional bug caused list values added past value 50 to reorder alphabetically into top slots. This has been fixed. Values added to a dropdown list will now preserve the order in which they were created.
- Label template alignment issue resolved: A fix was implemented for label templates to ensure the label boundaries aligned with printer-safe zones.
- Attendance: Resolved Parent Driven Logging Tool Session Discrepancies: This fix addresses an issue where the parent driven logging tool interface displayed active camp sessions that were not actually linked to the selected attendance checkpoint. The logging tool now accurately evaluates checkpoint criteria to ensure parents only see sessions tied specifically to the chosen checkpoint.
- Resolved layout and workflow issues on the Parent Dashboard: Resolved minor interface discrepancies and repaired a bug where a waitlisted option payment schedule group was mistakenly hidden on the Parent Dashboard checkout page whenever sibling discounts were active.
- Camp Shop: Created safeguards against intermittent charge duplication: This update introduces a payment gateway confirmation gate in order to prevent duplicate charges from potentially being added to a family profile Financial tab.
- System cache update repair: In a scenario where an enrollment option is restricted by an enrollment question via a saved Advanced Report, if an admin updated the answer to the enrollment question on the camper profile, the restriction parameters did not immediately update for that camper. This fix ensures the report cache updates instantly. This prevents inaccurate warning flags from displaying in the enrollment wizard if a camper is immediately enrolled in a restricted option after the enrollment question is updated.
- Camp Shop: Repaired Responsive Camper Profile Shop Order Modal: This update repairs an issue with the order tool on a camper profile for databases in Responsive mode. The camper profile order tool now functions as expected.
- Donors: Non-electronic refund bug repaired: A bug prevented custom payment methods, such as “cash”, from being refunded on the Donor profile. With this update refunds can now be issued to a custom payment. Additionally, this fix ensures the ‘add payment’ window closes automatically upon submission.
- Events: Fixed registration confirmation email issue: An issue prevented the registration confirmation email from firing from the Registration Wizard in a scenario where no payment was collected at the time of registration. This has been repaired to ensure the registration confirmation email always successfully sends, even if no deposit is collected up front.
- Restored chronological enrollment option sorting on Parent Dashboard enrollment landing page: This update ensures that the enrollment options in the “Currently enrolled for…” list seen in a camper tile on the Parent Dashboard Enrollment landing page display sequentially in accordance with admin Setup Wizard configurations.
- Standardized save controls added to Family profiles: The “Save” functionality for fields on the family profile page has been updated to match the behavior found on other profiles (camper, staff, etc). Also, clicking “tab” while in Quick Notes will no longer clear typed notes before the user saves.
- Approved payment automatic email fix: This fix ensures that parents who have input a credit card on the Parent Dashboard enrollment checkout page that matches an existing card on file will still trigger the automatic payment approval email. The fix also ensures the automatic email fires after a new card is added on the Parent Dashboard enrollment checkout page.
- Events: Reconfigured guest advanced reports to accurately pull event counts: The "Events count" report field in a guest advanced report failed to pull any data. A fix has been implemented to ensure the field accurately reflects the number of events a participant attended for the year.
- Camp Today Communication: Updated email batch system. This update repaired an issue where camper emails successfully submitted from the Parent Dashboard appeared to vanish from the admin Camp Today Communication batch tool. The batch tool now reliably works as expected.
- Fixed reset password link errors for databases in a Camp Group: This change ensures that the password reset links work correctly for admin profiles associated with multiple databases in a Camp Group. It also introduces a block for the "Forgot Password" button to prevent repeated clicks from breaking active links.
- Conference and Retreat: Package creations prevented when Group RFI is submitted by a user with an existing profile: This fix resolves an error where conference and retreat packages were still generated if the Group Request for Information form was submitted with an email associated with an existing profile. The system now treats email duplication as a hard block, which prevents the package creation until the discrepancy is resolved.
- Verification logic added at checkout for enrollment extras: This update introduces a validation check on the enrollment checkout page for enrollment extras. If a camp changes a mandatory enrollment extra to be either optional or inactive after a parent has navigated past the “Questions” step of the enrollment form, then the enrollment extra selection will automatically un-select and the charge will not be added to the checkout total.
