Here's what changed:
 

New features

• ‼️ NEW! We added another "age" value for campers and staff that calculates their age in years + months.
  • This value is not a "true" fraction - the decimal point represents the number of months old they are.
  • For example, if a camper is 4 years and 11 months old, their decimal age is 4.11.
  • Keep in mind that the filter for years + months in advanced reports treats this value as "true" fraction.
• ‼️ NEW! You can now report on incomplete enrollments using the enrollment option + bundle name + status field. If a camper selected options on the enrollment options page, saved it, but never finished submitting the form, the enrollment option + bundle name + status field will display those options as "(Incomplete)".
• ‼️ Attention API users: your API calls must now use api.campmanagement.com/v1 for the URL (instead of your camp's subdomain). We also updated the bunking assignment GET calls to use 'query parameters' instead of a 'body request'.
• 💳 Our processing fees functionality is now set up for the Donors module.

Bug Fixes

• The yearly custom fields tab on the Staff profile page displays correctly now.
• The "What's my password?" modal on the Events dashboard is working again.
• If staff applicants resubmit the references page of their staff application after a reference already filled out their reference form, the reference form submission is no longer reset.
• The functions for rearranging registration options and deleting coupon codes on the Events module Registration Options setup page have been fixed.
• The "Undo" function for staff-driven attendance logging now works properly when you allow multiple check-ins for the same checkpoint.

⭐ New software release - April 30th ⭐

Here's what changed:

New features

• ‼️ Parents, staff, guests, and donors can now use two-factor authentication (2FA) for logging into their dashboard. They can enable 2FA from their "My Account" page and set it up to work with the authenticator app on their phone.
• ‼️ For camps using our Attendance module, you can now add custom header text to the Authorized Pickups page of the Parent Dashboard, and add address fields to your authorized pickup form. To add address, go to Admin > Campers > Attendance > Authorized pickup fields. And, you can report on their addresses, too!
• ‼️ The Credit Card Transactions Report results now includes GL (ledger) codes for each transaction (if applicable).
• ‼️ Camps using our Conference & Retreat module, you can now show equipment and facility prices to groups requesting a package on request for info/direct registration forms. Enable prices from Events Setup Wizard > Step 1.
• ‼️ We also made some behind-the-scenes improvements to optimize the advanced reports restrictions process during enrollment.
• ‼️ Attention API users: we made some enhancements to our Bunking API endpoints: 1) The PUT /camper/assignments call now also returns a response (not just returning the success code); 2) You can now UNASSIGN a camper from a bunk if you submit an EMPTY bunkId value with the PUT /campers/assignments call; and 3) the GET /camper/assignments response clearly labels camperSessionId now.

Bug Fixes

• For camps with our Medical module, we fixed the bug that prevented campers from finishing enrollment if medical forms were required for sessions that the camper didn’t select (a.k.a. they're not supposed to fill out the forms).
• We made another improvement to the upload process for printed forms, where in rare instances the “file is too large” error was being thrown when the file was not too large.
• The "Auto pay batch results" admin email notification is firing properly again - some users weren't getting the emal if the last payment in the batch was declined.

❇️ Performance & System Enhancements

• Improved User Experience after Releases: We've implemented a change to how the application's code is updated during releases. Now, users should always see the latest updates without needing to manually clear their browser's cache or “hard refresh” the page.

🪲 Bug Fixes

• Camp Today: We've fixed a bug on the "Camp Today" page to ensure that thumbnails and content for all recent posts load correctly as you scroll. Additionally, the "Loading…" message will no longer get stuck at the bottom of the page.
• Donor Dashboard 2FA: We've resolved an issue on the Donor Dashboard's "My Account" page where code was incorrectly displayed. The toggle to enable Two-Factor Authentication now also works as expected, opening the setup modal on click.
• Events Dashboard "Add Payment Method": The "Add payment method" link on the Events Dashboard's "My Account" page is now working correctly. Clicking the link will now properly open the modal for adding a new payment method.
• Medical Form File Replacement: We've fixed an issue with printed medical forms where replacing an existing file would fail and incorrectly delete the original. You can now successfully upload a new file to replace an old one on both camper and staff forms.
• Transaction Details Fixes: We've resolved several issues related to managing transactions with processing fees. This includes fixing errors when editing transactions with a fee and ensuring that processing fee ledger codes display correctly on add/edit payment modals.
• Processing Fees in Financial Reports: The Deposit and Credit Card Transactions reports will now correctly display the custom name for processing fees (the "vanity term"). This ensures terminology is consistent across all relevant financial reporting.
• Transportation Form Transactions: An error that was preventing the transactions section from loading on the parent dashboard's transportation form has been fixed. Applicable charges and discounts will now be displayed correctly within the form.
• Events Module Registration Form Checkout: We've corrected several bugs at the events registration checkout related to how processing fees are calculated and displayed. The fee calculation is now more accurate when toggling between different payment amounts and payment methods.
• Camper Custom Fields Date Picker: The date picker for "date" type custom fields on the legacy camper profile now allows you to select years into the future, so users are no longer restricted to dates within the current calendar year.
• "Admin Only" Dropdown Values for Staff: We've fixed a bug where dropdown options marked as "Admin only" were incorrectly appearing on staff-facing forms. These fields will now be correctly hidden from staff as intended.

❇️ Product Enhancements and Improvements

• 💸 NEW! You can now choose to include refunds in the Deposit Report results, using the new “Include refunds?” setting. For more info, go to your Deposit Report click the info icon in the bottom right corner of the page.
   
• We improved the the logic behind the DB Management "Reports" permission where if a user with this permission gets locked out temporarily, and new reports are created while they're locked out, the user will still have admin permission to those reports after being un-locked later.

🪲 Bug fixes

• Camp Today “Extended family” users can successfully reset their password from the Camp Today login page again.
   
• When admins using our responsive layout edit a family payment that has multiple category breakdowns, they can now delete additional categories as expected.
   
• We updated the Transportation > Bus Roster report so that the date checkboxes display properly again.
   
• We fixed several minor interface issues caused by a “behind-the-scenes” update recently, including: required questions on the Health History Forms are clearly labeled in red; submitting batch Spending Money transactions now refreshes as expected; a false error no longer displays on the Camp Today extended family login; the CampSite release notes navigation is fixed; and minor visual improvements were made to a few pages.
   
• The Deposit Report has been updated to correctly display the correct total processing fees per module in each module table.
   
• We updated the Credit Card Transaction Report so that the “GL Code” column of the results displays as expected when "Combine electronic payments" is set to "no".
   
• We corrected a rare issue where users were redirected to a broken page if their login attempt failed, and added a better error message explaining that they just need to try logging in again.
   
• We also fixed a rare issue where the “refund” button for a family’s payment sometimes didn’t match the actual payment amount.

❇️ Product Enhancements and Improvements

• Camper "References" Reporting: We've updated advanced reports and emailing to support the recently added Camper Reference Form feature. Find reference fields/filters under Enrollment > Year > References when in both Advanced Reports and when sending an email.
• Text Editor Upgrade in “Send Statement” and “Send Invoice” Modals: We upgraded our legacy text editor to our standard (modern) editor in the modals for emailing financial statements and invoices to families/guests, for a more feature-rich editing experience (like embedding links) into financial communications.
• "Age + Months" Calculation Logic: We improved the "Age + Months" calculation to correctly handle the month of a camper/staff person's birthday. The logic is updated so that in the month of their birth date prior to their birthday (e.g., April 10th for an April 15th birthday), the system correctly displays ".11" as the months decimal value.

🪲 Bug Fixes

• Camp Today "Unknown Visitor" Login Page Cleanup: We removed the false "Incompatible Browser" error from the 'Unknown Visitor' login page for Camp Today.
• Transaction Log Calculation Fix: We fixed a math error in the Transaction Log and .CSV export where reversed processing fee payments and refunds were displayed inversely (negative when they should be positive; or positive when they should be negative).
• Events Housing Board Drag-and-Drop Fix: We fixed a bug on the Events Housing Board where guest tiles were not draggable in certain scenarios.
• Processing Fees on Responsive Family Profile Fix: We resolved an issue where processing fees were. not being calculated when admin submitted payments through the add payment modal on the responsive family profile and responsive enrollment wizard.
• Saved Email Bug Fix: We updated our text editor compatibility to prevent the editor from failing to load when an admin tried to edit a saved email in certain scenarios.
• Invalid File Upload Error Message: We implemented a clear "Invalid file type" error message for when a user attempts to upload a Google Top Shot "motion" image (.mp.jpg) as their profile photo, which is not supported.
• Task Reminder Email for Certain Admin: We fixed a bug in the daily task reminder email job that was incorrectly excluding the primary camp admin from daily task reminder email notifications.
