myCAMPapp Reset Password Guide

This guide will describe how a users password can be reset either manually or via email within myCAMPapp.

How to Set a Password Manually

  1. Navigate to Users > Manage Users.
  2. Click on a User’s Profile. From the User’s Profile, click ‘Set Password’.
  1. Enter a desired password, and click ‘Set Password’ when done.
  2. Once the password has been set, click ‘Confirm’ to save changes.

Important to note: Regardless of a Camp's setting for ‘Signup Confirmation Email’, you must always click the ‘Confirm’ button after setting a new password.

Understanding Confirmation Messages

If you receive a message stating "Successful: The user has been confirmed," it means the user has never been confirmed before

If you receive a warning message stating "Error: Email was already confirmed," it means the user has already been confirmed.

Important to note: It is considered best practice to always click ‘Confirm’ after setting a password just to ensure the confirmed status of a user is updated correctly.
