If a user is not getting push notifications:
Did the user accept to receive push notifications from the app?
To check if you have “allowed” push notifications from the app please follow the steps below:
In the mobile app:
- Tap “More” at the bottom right
- Tap on “Communication Settings"
- If the box next to Receive Push Notification is not check do this: Tap “Edit”, tap the box to add a checkmark, tap “Save”
On your phone “Settings”:
- Go to the Settings app on your device
- Tap on “Notifications"
- Scroll down until you find the XYZ app
- Tap on it to view and edit your permission
If the user did allow Notifications, please make sure they are opted-in to the categories for which they want the notifications; in the app go to “More” and then Settings. Here they will see all the categories and be able to opt-in or out.
This can only be done if you are a non-campsite client
