In this article, we will present the steps that CampSite would recommend an admin user take to create a simple Weekly Camp option should be created using the Setup Wizard.
If the following statement sounds like your camp program needs, then this setup may be for you:
"My program runs more than one session. Typically, guardians can opt their campers in on a week by week basis, and they attend the full week. This might be programs like weekly day camps, travel camps, or any other program where families are signing up one week at a time."
Step 1: Request For Information Form + New Family Enrollment Form Setup
This step has no direct instruction for this setup sample outside of it's general functionality. If you have questions about Request For Information Form + New Family Enrollment Form Setup, please see: Campers Wizard - Step 1: Request for information + New family enrollment form setup
Step 2: Sessions
You’ll want to create a session that encompasses the start date and end date, and any capacity restrictions you have PER WEEK.
- Click +Add session…
- Give your session a name, like ‘Camp Week 1’
- Select your Camp Start and End Dates
- Set a Capacity under Maximum Capacity if needed
- Select the closest ‘active days’ to your camp model weekdays for a M-F is most common, but you can modify any specific days in the next step if necessary.
- Click the add new session button.
If you need to add sub capacities or edit the active days of this session, you can double click the pencil to the left of the session name. You can learn more about these actions here: Campers Wizard - Step 2: Sessions
Step 3: Transaction Categories

Step 4: Payment Schedules
This step has no direct instruction for this setup sample outside of it's general functionality. If you have questions about Payment Schedules, please see: Campers Wizard - Step 4: Payment Schedules
Step 5: Tuition
Next, we’ll create a tuition plan for the week-long sessions.
Note, you may need to make more if your camp is able to be purchased at different rates (like a members rate and a non-members rate) - or if you have pro-rated week rates for a holiday/closure.
- Click +Add Tuition Plan
- In the new window, name your tuition plan. This should encompass the base rate of coming to your week-long session that applies to your campers.
- Select the transaction category that funds paid for this camp should be allocated to.
- Set the amount.
- Note, if you have early bird/ late sign up price increase, you can learn more about tuition plan rates here: Campers Wizard - Step 5: Tuition Plans
- If you have any weeks where you are pro-rating the cost (due to a holiday or closure), repeat these steps to add that special tuition plan in as well.
Step 6: Enrollment Extras
This step has no direct instruction for this setup sample outside of it's general functionality. If you have questions about Enrollment Extras, please see: Campers Wizard - Step 6: Enrollment Extras
Step 7: Enrollment Discounts
This step has no direct instruction for this setup sample outside of it's general functionality. If you have questions about Enrollment Discounts, please see: Campers Wizard - Step 7: Enrollment Discounts
Step 8: Enrollment Form Setup
This step has no direct instruction for this setup sample outside of it's general functionality. If you have questions about Enrollment Form Setup, please see: Campers Wizard - Step 8: Enrollment Form Setup
Step 9: Enrollment Options
In this step, we’ll create an enrollment option for parents to select for your camp. There are two main ways to set this up within CampSite:
- A single option where parents select how many weeks they are attending, then which weeks specifically they will attend
- Creating a separate enrollment option for each week that parents will choose one at a time (à la carte).
A setup with one option where parents/guardians can select how many weeks to attend, then which weeks, provides a seamless experience for parents on the initial sign up.
It does not favor setups with pricing dependent on restrictions (like multiple age/grade restrictions, or multiple report restrictions) as well, and will require more administration if a family wants to add additional weeks on to their first enrollment à la carte.
If you are creating one enrollment option with many bundles (pick 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks):
- Once the option is made, select +add bundle
- In the pop up window, give your bundle a name. This might be a place to put something like ‘One Week, Two Weeks, Three Weeks, etc)
- Set number of sessions to correspond with the amount of weeks this bundle can pick’
- Select the rate (Tuition Plan) participants enrolling in this bundle will be responsible for paying.
- Select the sessions you made in step 2.
- Set Active to ‘Yes’.
- Select any enrollment extras campers enrolling in this bundle may select.
- Click ‘Add Bundle’ to add the bundle.
- You may need to set a deposit if you are collecting a portion or all of the funds for this bundle up front. You can learn more about that step here: Campers Wizard - Step 9: Enrollment Options
Pros of Many Options with Single Bundles
This type of setup does create more options for the administrator to manage on the administrative side, but the benefit is that parents can add options into their checkout a la carte, and this can support more nuance in restrictions, since restrictions are set per enrollment option and this setup has an option per week.
If your restrictions on grades, ages, or other criteria for campers might fluctuate week to week (Week 1 is preK-1st, week 2 is 1st-5th, etc), this is the recommended option.
- Click +Add Enrollment Option
- In the pop up window, give your enrollment option a name, and a description!
- You may want to include pricing here if you want your parents/guardians to see it prior to checkout, especially if you will only have ONE bundle per option.
- If you are creating multiple options with single bundles, you’ll want to create options per week, each option name with the week # or dates.
- If you are creating one option with many bundles, you’ll want to name your option something like Summer Camp 2026 - your bundle names will indicate the week #.
- Select a payment schedule if necessary
- Set Active to ‘Yes’.
- Click the ‘add enrollment option’ button to close the window.
- In the pop up window, give your enrollment option a name, and a description!
If you are creating enrollment options PER WEEK with single bundles inside:
- Once the option is made, select +add bundle
- In the pop up window, give your bundle a name. This might be a place to put something like ‘Week 1’.
- Set number of sessions to ‘1’
- Select the rate (Tuition Plan) participants enrolling in this bundle will be responsible for paying.
- Select the session you made on step 2.
- Add any other details, such as restrictions, passcodes, or enrollment option questions as needed.
If you need to set up multiple prices restricted on criteria, repeat these steps.
