To see the parent side of your Campsite database, you will need to create a fake family and camper profile. You can do this in two ways:
For either method used, we recommend using a new browser type to view the Parent Dashboard than the one you are using to view the admin facing side. This is recommending to prevent needing to log in and out over and over.
For example, if you usually use the Chrome web browser to view Campsite as an admin user, we would recommend using a new web browser type (such as Firefox web browser) to login as a parent to the Parent Dashboard. This way you can see both sides of the database without needing to login and log out repeatedly.
1. Filling out the New Family Enrollment Form
To begin with this method, you will need to go to your New Family Enrollment link.
As in the video clip above, begin by filling out some basic information for this form. The information used can be placeholder data and does not need to be real family information. Even the email address does not need to be a real or existing email address to be used to create an account.
Fill out all required fields and then submit the form.
Once the form is submitted you will be logged into the Parent Dashboard for this new family and will be directed to the Enrollment Process for the camper you created. You can navigate away from this page if needed to view the options on the left side bar.
2. Using the "Add New Family" button
In this method, begin on the admin landing page. Hover your cursor over the green "Campers" button on the top navigation page and click on "Add New Family".
When you add a family, you will be immediately redirected to their Family Profile page upon submission. Once there, you will want to use the Action Menu to reset the password for P1.
Lastly, you will navigate to the Parent Dashboard Login page.
This page link begins with the same CampSite URL you use to access the admin portal (e.g. firewood.campmanagement.com) but ends with .com/campers, as pictured above.
On this page you will use the fake email address and the newly reset password to login as the parent.
When you login, you will be directed to the home page. Use the options on the left side bar to navigate the Parent Dashboard as needed.
