The Staff Application must be filled out by applicants each year that they would like to apply to work at a camp.
All of the sections of information in this application can be toggled on or off under Admin> Staff> Application: Settings. Please see here for more setting information: Application: Settings
This article will review the following steps of the Staff Application process:
Step 1: Photo
If a photo upload is set as active under Admin> Staff> Application Settings> Photo Upload, then a photo upload will be the first step of the application process. If a photo upload is not set to be active, this step will not appear to applicants.
Photo uploads must be .JPEG or .PNG file types. "Live photos" are not accepted.
The header text for this page can be customized under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> "Begin staff application" (/apply) instructions.
The photo instructions can also be customized under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Photo Upload Instructions.
Once a photo is uploaded, an applicant will need to click on "Save and Continue" to move forward in the application.
Step 2: Basic Info
The Basic info step is where you a camp can collect additional information on that first step of the application as well as ask what position at camp an applicant is applying for.
The Header text of this application page can be edited under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Basic Info instructions.
The amount of positions that an applicant can apply for at once can be controlled on the Admin side under Admin > Staff> Application: Settings> Number of positions an applicant can apply for.
Positions do not come standard with CampSite and must be created on the Admin side under Admin> Staff> Setup Wizard> Step 1: Positions.

Additional information will ask about an applicants availability and lead details.
- The lead responses for this question do come standard but if additional options are wanted, they can be added on the Admin side under Admin> DB Management> Dropdown Lists> add more values to the "Lead Sources" dropdown list.
These sections of information for the application can be turned on or off at any time by navigating to Admin> Staff> Application: Basic Info instructions.

Step 3: Education
The Education step will allow applicants to add up to three past schools to their history.
The header text of this application page can be edited under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Education instructions.
While one Education history option will be presented initially, more can be added (up to three) by clicking on the "+ Add Another School" button.
The number of past Education histories required can be set under Admin> Staff> Application: Settings.
Step 4: Employment
The Employment step will allow applicants to add up to three past schools to their history.
The header text of this application page can be edited under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Employment instructions.
While one Employment history option will be presented initially, more can be added (up to three) by clicking on the "+ Add Another Employer" button.
The number of past Employment histories required can be set under Admin> Staff> Application: Settings.
Step 5: Certifications
The Certification step will allow applicants to add any certifications they think are relevant to the position that they are applying for.
The header text of this application page can be edited under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Certifications instructions.
The certifications noted here by the applicant do not have an option to upload a copy of a certification. This is an option for an applicant to notify a camp that they have a certification that can be provided if asked for.
If a camp would like to ask for an upload of any noted certifications, CampSite recommends setting up a Staff form to accept an upload. For more information on how to create a Staff form please see: Staff Forms
If an applicant wishes to add a certification here, they will need to add a name for the certification and add a date that the certification expires.
Once a certification is added, it will appear under the Current Certifications section. If the certification needs to be removed on the applicant side, they can click on the red "x" to remove the certification.
Step 6: Qualifications
The header text of this application page can be edited under Admin > Staff> Application: Instructions> Qualifications instructions.
The Qualification step present a list of qualifications to applicants from different categories that are created by the camp. These categories and qualifications can be created under Admin> Staff> Setup Wizard> Step 4: Staff Qualifications.
The applicant will decide from a drop down list whether they are qualified to lead, assist or they are unqualified. They then can rank each one based on which they prefer to do.
Step 7: References
The Reference step will allow applicants to add up to three references for a camp to contact before employment is offered.

While one Reference option will be presented initially, more can be added (up to three) by clicking on the "+ Add Another Reference" button.
The number of past References required can be set under Admin> Staff> Application: Settings.

Step 8: General Questions
The header text of this application page can be edited under Admin> Staff> Application: Instructions> General Questions instructions.
The questions listed here will appear for each applicant to answer, regarless of the position that they are applying for.

The questions listed here will appear for applicants who apply to certain positions.

Step 10: Terms & Conditions
The Terms & Conditions that staff applicants will need to sign and agree to can be edited under Admin> Staff> Application: Instructions> Terms & Conditions.
This application cannot be submitted until the checkbox under the Terms & Conditions is checked off. The "Submit" button will not be selectable until this box is checked off.
Once the application is successfully submitted, the Application Complete message will appear under the Terms & Conditions. This message is customizable under Admin> Staff> Application: Instructions> Staff application completed message.
