From your Financial: Communication settings, you can control your automatic email notifications for approved and declined transactions within the Donors module.
To access your Financial: Communication settings, go to Admin>Donors>Financial: Communication.
Automatic Emails for Approved Transactions
Control whether or not CampSite automatically sends an email when a donor credit card or checking account transaction is approved.
If these emails are enabled, the email will be sent to the "billing address" associated with the payment method that was used.
- When a donor credit card transaction is approved, select whether or not to send automatic emails to the billing address on file for the card.
- When a donor checking account transaction is approved, select whether or not to send automatic emails to the billing address on file for the card.
- Add additional text to the automatic email.
Note: The automatic email already contains standard text auto-populated by CampSite. See below for an example:
- This text will automatically appear in the email. It cannot be edited.
- This is where your additional text would appear.

If these emails are enabled, the email will be sent to the "billing address" associated with the payment method that was used.
- When a donor credit card transaction is declined, select whether or not to send automatic emails to the billing address on file for the card.
- When a donor checking account transaction is declined, select whether or not to send automatic emails to the billing address on file for the card.
- Add additional text to the automatic email.
